Kingdom Hearts weaves a tangled web of a story, filled with tons of twists, dramatic villains, and sappy power of friendship themes. Part of what keeps fans so invested in the series are the constant twists, and the anticipation of finding out those big reveals that’ll completely change the nature of Kingdom Hearts’ story. One of those massive revelations came with the release of the 2013 browser game Kingdom Hearts χ, which introduced an enigmatic and quirky character known as the Master of Masters....

Analysts Wedbush have run the numbers on the latest Trump tariff announcement, and said that it’s bad news no matter how Apple responds. Trump yesterday announced that the US is imposing a 10% tariff on another $300 billion worth of goods imported from China in his latest escalation of the trade war. While we’re awaiting details, the prevailing assumption is that most Apple products would be hit by this, with AAPL stock falling 2% on the news …...

A Star Wars movie and TV show about the Knights of the Old Republic is reportedly in development. This past December, Lucasfilm closed out the franchise’s iconic Skywalker saga with Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, but that’s hardly the last Star Wars film that will grace the big screen. While Disney is putting the Star Wars films on a short, self-imposed hiatus, they already have a trio of mystery projects scheduled for release in December 2022, 2024, and 2026....

Star Cameron Cuffe has taken to social media to address the recent cancelation of Krypton. The DC Comics-inspired show debuted on SYFY in 2018. Despite the heavy dose of skepticism surrounding the premise, the show garnered positive reviews and impressive ratings in its first season. Unfortunately, the numbers dropped significantly across its sophomore outing. As a result, the cable network axed both Krypton and its planned Lobo spinoff directly after the former’s season 2 finale....

Developer Kosta Eleftheriou has developed a knack for finding App Store scams over the last few months. And the latest one he’s exposed is quite interesting. The app disguises itself as a kids’ game but in reality, it’s an online casino that bypasses Apple’s in-app purchase system and appears to be scamming users out of unknown sums. Kosta shared about this latest scam he discovered on Twitter today. In the description, “Jungle Runner 2k21” claims to be a “fun running game” for ages 4+ (Apple appears to have pulled the game in the US)....

Game of Thrones star Kit Harington and The Favourite Oscar nominee Emma Stone will both take on hosting duties next month on Saturday Night Live. According to a report published in The Korea Times, LG is on track to ship flexible displays before their archnemesis Samsung. Said displays should hit the market this year, but the report doesn’t say how big they’ll be or for which applications their best suited. LG could very well be planning on introducing 1.5 inch flexible displays for smart watches for all I know. Should Samsung be scared? That depends....

Every month, like clockwork, Google updates their “Developer Dashboard“. It’s a site that shows what kind of Android devices are accessing the Google Play Store. The latest numbers show that 32.3% of all Android devices are running Android 4.1, and 5.6% are running Android 4.2, for a combined total of 37.9%. Contrast, the company which just released the excellent new app Weather Up, has today pushed a major update to its popular Launch Center Pro utility. The update brings the app to version 3.0 and includes a host of new features, such as NFC Triggers, “True Black” mode, Siri Shortcuts integration, and more. The headlining feature of Launch Center Pro’s update is support for NFC Triggers. On iPhone XR, iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Max, you can now trigger Launch Center Pro actions via custom NFC stickers....

A plan by the LA Unified School District to provide an iPad for each of its 640,000 students by the end of this year has now been suspended, and appears likely to be abandoned altogether. Apple proudly announced the plan in June of last year, but it wasn’t too long before the arrangement came into question. Rollout was temporarily halted last September, when it was found that students were able to bypass restrictions designed to ensure they were only used for school work when taken home....

Apple has announced its latest Apple Pay promotion. This week, the company is offering $10 off purchases from StubHub when you checkout using Apple Pay. If you use Apple Pay in the StubHub app, simply enter code PAYFASTER during checkout to receive $10 off your purchase of $100 or more. Still, even though influencer marketing hadn’t been named, or codified into a standard practice, Twtrland had all the makings of a tool that could help businesses strategise their social marketing strategies on Twitter. Offering insights into hundreds of million accounts, Twtrland offered tons of data on users’ posting habits, their popularity, and demographics on their followers. The value of this wasn’t clear (pun intended) at the time of its launch....

As the fall approaches, the Economic Daily news has issued a new report with the latest chatter it is hearing about some of Apple’s upcoming iOS device launches.
