Piper Sandler’s latest survey of more than 7,000 US teens shows that Gen Z loves Apple, as 88% of teens own an iPhone and 90% expect an iPhone to be their next phone. Both of these numbers are new all-time highs. The report also shows that 70% of U.S. teens own AirPods. Last October, 86% of the teens said they owned an iPhone, with 89% saying they intended to purchase one....

Update: Apple has pulled the listing. Some eagle-eyed commenters noted that the Support document about Thunderbolt Displays included an interesting addition. Apple says that iMac (Mid 2011 and Late 2011) can both support two Thunderbolt displays. There’s only one problem: Apple hasn’t released a Late 2011 iMac…yet. Apple released an EDU-only iMac in August which is sometimes called “Late 2011 iMac” but that device has no Thunderbolt so that wouldn’t make sense....

KGI Securities analyst King-Chi Kuo in his latest investor note has shared his predictions for the Samsung’s upcoming flagship, the Galaxy S8. Like the leaks have made it clear, Kuo says that Samsung will be launching two variants of the Galaxy S8: one with a 5.8-inch display and another one with a 6.2-inch display. Eastman Kodak Company has lost a critical part of its ITC case against Apple and RIM, in which the company which claims invention of the first ever digital camera back in 1975 has been trying to win royalty payments on a common image-preview feature used in phones. U.S. International Trade Commission Judge Paul Luckern said Apple’s iPhone and RIM’s BlackBerry don’t violate Kodak’s patent. These findings are subject to a six person review board for final approval, but it isn’t looking so great for Kodak right now....
